I’m really excited to announce that I will begin teaching Ableton Live at the Scratch Academy in Miami, starting Saturday, September 10th. I will start off with 1 class per week but I hope that this will lead to more opportunities in the audio production industry.
I started teaching myself Live sometime around 2006, thanks to Eddie Disidente giving me a copy. I was instantly hooked and haven’t look at another DAW since. I produce all of my music with Live, as well as most of my mixes and have converted many producers over from whatever program they were using before.
As you may already know, the Scratch Academy was founded by Run DMC’s Jam Master Jay and is the premiere institution for learning how to DJ and the art of turntablism. I am honored to join a group of talented music lovers and to share my passion for music production with those who wish to take their passion for music production to the next level. For all of it’s programs, from DJ basics such as beat matching and mixing, to more advanced courses in turntablism and it’s music production contest, the Scratch Academy offers small classes of no more than six students, one-on-one private classes as well as unlimited use of lab facilities. It’s a pretty cool thing they’ve got going on!
If you’re interested in signing up for anything, please let me know and I will get you sorted. The Scratch Academy is located at 2 Northeast 40th Street #304 Miami, FL 33137.
